Why Attend?
 

We invite you to a community dialogue lab designed to equip Albertans with practical tools to recognize, understand, and safely respond to racism and microaggressions. 

 

Admission is FREE!

 

Bring your family, invite your friends, colleagues and community members for an afternoon of learning and empowerment.

Casual Workspace Meeting

The afternoon includes an opening educational presentation followed by a hands-on, multi-station Dialogue Lab using the S.P.E.A.K.™ Framework. Through guided conversations, Alberta-based scenarios, and response practice, participants will explore:

​

  • How racism and microaggressions affect people and communities.

  • Ways to respond clearly, respectfully, and safely.

  • Practical approaches to bystander intervention and allyship.

  • Alberta resources and reporting pathways.

​

The event will close with shared insights and ideas for community action.

Community members, allies, service providers, and community leaders are invited to learn together and help build safer, more inclusive spaces.
