About the Event
The Edmonton Riverhawks and EPIC have partnered to celebrate the Filipino community of Edmonton by showcasing the rich and colorful culture and traditions of the Filipinos with performances, games, exhibits, and more. It is also a celebration for the inclusion of a Filipino-Canadian baseball player with the Riverhawks, rookie Jakob Poturnak.
Festivities start at 12 pm
Featured game: Edmonton Riverhawks vs Wenatchee AppleSox, 1 pm
Making this event extra special is a Meet & Greet with Filipino actress, model and celebrity Ina Raymundo who is the mother of Jakob Poturnak.
This is a fundraiser for the Edmonton Philippine International Centre. Discounted tickets are available through the Edmonton Philippine International Centre. A portion of your ticket also goes to support EPIC.
