TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • ​A non-refundable booking fee is required to reserve the venue on the desired date.

  • The rental fee is required in full no less than ten (10) business days prior to the rental/function date.

  • The acceptable methods of payment are: e-transfer to EdmontonPhilippineCentre@gmail.com or by cheque to Edmonton Philippine International Centre. Should any cheque written be returned by the bank for non-sufficient funds, a $50.00 fee will be charged.

  • A refundable damage deposit is required at the execution of a rental agreement. The damage deposit will be returned within 30 days, minus any applicable deductions.

  • The Renter assumes full responsibility for the conduct of all people at the facility and will ensure that orderly conduct is maintained both inside and outside of the facility.

  • No nails, screws, staples, and/or pins are allowed to decorate the rented facility. Use painter's tape, sticky-tack or string.

  • The Renter agrees to clean the premises at the end of the rental period. If the Renter fails to comply the cost of cleaning will be deducted from the damage deposit. All garbage is to be removed from the premises the day/evening of the rental/function to the garbage bin located outside in the parking area. Cleaning fees or services are available.

  • The Edmonton Philippine International Centre is a non-smoking facility.

  • EPIC shall not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury which may be incurred by any person during the rental period. The Renter shall indemnify EPIC against any claim which may arise as a result of the rental, made by any person for loss, damage or injury.

  • An overtime hourly fee will be charged for overstaying the agreed time of rent.

  • Booking cancellations must be made in writing to EPIC. A cancellation of more than thirty (30) days prior to the event date will receive a refund of the damage deposit and rental rates. Cancellations made thirty (30) days or less prior to the event date will receive a refund of the damage deposit but no refund of the rental fee. If for any reason EPIC is unable to honour a booking, all monies paid will be fully refunded.

  • The Renter shall maintain a third-party liability insurance against claims for death, personal injury, and property damage on the premises, in an amount not less than $2,000,000. The policy should name Edmonton Philippine International Centre as an additional insured. The Hall will not be available until a valid Certificate of Insurance is received.

  • The Renter will ensure compliance with the conditions of their AGLC liquor license or special event license. The license will be posted in the area where alcohol will be dispensed.

  • The Renter will ensure compliance with all municipal and provincial bylaws.
