The EPIC Alberta Initiative is extremely proud of one of Josephine Pallard who won this year's Senior Achievement Award at the recently held Golden Balangay Awards.
This award recognizes a citizen, 60 years of age and above, who has made an outstanding contribution to his/her community by making their community a better place to live. Dr. Josephine Enero Pallard is one of the pioneer economic immigrants from the Philippines, who came to Canada as an educator. She is currently the principal of the Filipino Language and Culture School of Edmonton.
